I think there’s some kind of milk mafia. Some kind of dairy mafia, that’s trying to tell women and that there’s nothing wrong with consuming copious amounts of dairy; that it won’t affect your skin at all.
But there’s no studies proving it doesn’t.
Instead, there’s tons of anecdotal accounts online that say, “My skin stopped freaking out when I gave up dairy.”
Now should listen to the milk mafia who make money off of cheese? Or these unverified online anecdotes from people who have nothing to gain by lying to you?
Well, let’s take a look at the facts about milk and dairy in general.
Like the fact dairy is full of hormones. Literally, it comes from lactating animals that were recently pregnant. You know what they say about pregnant women? They’re hormonal.
Do you think being exposed to cow hormones is good for your skin, for your estrogen levels, or for your fertility? Honestly, I don’t really know.
What I do know is I tried it myself.
Going non-dairy, my skin calmed the F down.
My sister also tried cutting out dairy in her skin is fine and smooth as milk. My friend, a dude, cut out dairy. And he said that he never got another pimple. (Except for on those rare occasions where he can’t resist ice cream.)
The truth is, maybe nobody knows the truth about dairy and your skin. But it’s worth giving it a try. As long as you think it’s more important to have clear skin then milk with your cereal.
